“Everything we eat and everything we wear comes from the soil and the water and the air!” This week, young chefs will learn the value of eating (and making!) food that is fresh, local, and straight from the soil. Little explorers’ week-long challenge will be to create a “Harvest Feast” meal, from scratch -- using only those foods that are healthy, local, fresh, and sustainable (and handpicked by themselves!).
